Food and drink sector optimism hit by challenges of rising NI and labour costs

UK food and drink businesses are feeling less optimistic about future growth than 12 months ago, with several firms citing rising National Insurance Contributions and National Minimum Wage costs as a contributing factor, according to our 2024 survey of the sector.
