Scotland’s tech funding gap: breaking the cycle of underinvestmentThe opening months of 2026 have taken me the length and breadth of the UK - from conversations in Glasgow and Edinburgh to investor gatherings in London. One event in the capital stood out in particular: a showcase connecting investors with Scottish-based founders building businesses using artificial intelligence. The quality of the founders in the room was genuinely impressive. But the appetite for investment told a familiar story.
