Corporate Insolvency and Governance Bill - the biggest corporate insolvency change in a generationThose of us who have been working in insolvency since the nineties will remember the seismic change brought in by the Enterprise Act in 2003. Corporate insolvency had largely remained unchanged before then since 1986! Roll forward 17 years and we welcome a new Bill which, per the Insolvency Service, is intended to “help companies to maximise their chances of survival, protect jobs and support the country’s economic recovery”.
