Our aim is to continue to build on our position as one of Scotland’s leading firms of Chartered Accountants. To do that, we continually look to recruit talented, motivated and ambitious people who share that drive.

Whether you’re a school leaver, looking for a summer internship, a recent graduate or want a career change, we’ll provide the platform to help you build a great career in accountancy.

JC Futures – School Leavers Programme

Are you keen to take your first step on the career ladder? If university is not for you and you would prefer to earn while you learn, our JC Futures programme is for you. With hands-on experience from day one, alongside supported training towards your professional accountancy qualification, you’ll be on track for a successful and bright career.

JC Futures is a six-year training programme. The first year involves transition from school and settling into the workplace. We work with you to develop your basic accounting skills and this culminates in you achieving a Certificate in Bookkeeping. Following the introductory year we then consider the most appropriate studies for you to follow with options including ICAS, ACCA, AAT and ATT. Alongside this you’ll be working within our accounts, audit or tax team, gaining valuable practical experience while studying for your exams.

What do I need to apply?

You should be aiming for or have a UCAS tariff of at least 135. In most cases we recruit our students in spring with a start date in the summer.
