HMRC launches voluntary profit diversion disclosure facility

HMRC has just launched the Profit Diversion Compliance voluntary disclosure facility. This is aimed at multinational enterprises (MNE) with structures and arrangements targeted by the Diverted Profit Tax (DPT) legislation.

      Talking Tax: New conditions for SEIS, EIS & VCT advance assurance applications

      HMRC have recently made some amendments to the way they handle both SEIS/EIS/VCT advance assurance claims, as well as the follow-up certification process that is required to be worked through post investment.       Draft Scottish Budget 2019/20: what you need to know

      Scotland’s Finance Secretary, Derek Mackay, delivered a Scottish Budget with the main objective to “protect what matters most.” He outlined his tax and spending plans for the country for 2019-20 under the shadow of what he described as “the UK Government’s chaotic approach to Brexit”, with the caveat that a “no deal” Brexit could affect the Scottish Government’s spending plans.
