Industrial placements

Our 12-month industrial placement is for any student whose university degree offers a placement as part of the course programme.   

As a firm, we are committed to leading the future and that means we invest in our entry level colleagues. We will support you to build up the knowledge and skills you need to complete your role and to develop for the future. You will expand your horizons through ongoing client projects and training opportunities provided in your business line and across the firm.

Making an impact

After a short firm wide induction, you will be straight into working on client projects in teams. You will build up relationships with team members in the firm and help to deliver excellent service to all our clients. You will work alongside a diverse range of colleagues in your role, including trainees, experienced professionals and experts in their field. As we are part of Moore Global, you will have the opportunity to expand your network and participate in learning opportunities.  

Springboard to a graduate career

Your experience will be reflective of first year experience on a graduate programme. If your degree is in accountancy, you will see the practical application of a variety of items you have studied. There are many benefits to the programme:

Locations

We have exciting placement opportunities available across the firm in Aberdeen, Inverurie, Elgin, Edinburgh and Inverness.

You can apply for an industrial placement by submitting a CV and filling in a short application form. If you proceed to the next stage, you will be invited for an interview with member(s) of the firm.   

We’re looking for students with sharp minds that are ready for new projects and challenges. An interest in a career in the accountancy profession is essential, as is a predicted 2:1 degree classification.
