Graduate Programme

A lot of people think accountancy is just about the numbers. While that’s always going to be part of the job, it’s about so much more than that. We have 850 colleagues, 13 offices and over 16,000 clients across 14 sectors, so there’s always going to be an exciting challenge to push you out of your comfort zone, if that’s what you want. When you join us as a graduate, you’ll be working in one of our specialist teams where you’ll be assigned a line manager who will work with you on your JC Path as you begin to grow.

I started my JC Path as a university graduate in 2007. The firm appealed to me initially as they placed a real focus on developing their students from day one through hands-on client work alongside study support. You never felt like ‘just a number’ - everyone was recognised as an individual with their own personality and skillset.

Martin Bannerman

Audit Senior Manager

I joined five years ago as a graduate fresh from university beginning my JC Path in the Audit department, then changing direction to join the Corporate Finance team as an Executive. I’m also part of the CSR Committee here in Edinburgh, where we make a real difference working with local charities across Scotland.

Corporate Finance Executive
