Kiltwalk - put your best foot forward!
Supporting our communities is important to us at JC, and one of our favourite ways to do this is through the Kiltwalk.
Kiltwalk is one of Scotland’s biggest mass participation charity events, with tens of thousands of Kiltwalkers lacing up their boots in Aberdeen, Glasgow, Dundee and Edinburgh, and taking on the challenge of walking 5, 15, or a marathon 26 miles to raise funds for their chosen charities.
Two of our core values are Doing The Right Thing and Standing In Other People’s Shoes, and few activities embody those values better than Kiltwalk. We’re thrilled to be Gold Sponsors for the sixth year running in 2022 – and with 850 staff and partners within JC, we really do make a difference. It is truly rewarding to know that every stride, stroll and wander helps to transform lives all over Scotland.
This year is extra special as it's the first time that all four Kiltwalks are back in person since 2019, with a bumper virtual event in October too – so there’s something for everyone!
Our teams take part in each event every year so no matter which walk you fancy, you’ll be in good company with our Chartered Akiltants! We also have a JC stand at every walk where we cheer on the walkers and are waiting with refreshments when you cross that finish line.
Whether you sign up for one of the walks or volunteer to help out on the stand, it's always a fantastic day out. The atmosphere is a huge buzz, and that energy really makes you feel like you’re part of something special! I really am immensely proud to support Kiltwalk. We’ve been sponsors since 2016, when Sir Tom came on board, and we’ve never looked back as a firm. After two years of restrictions, it has been incredibly difficult for charities so it’s fantastic to be able to fundraise and give back to the people who need it most.
