My JC Path: From summer intern to Audit Assistant

In the summer of 2022, Abbie Dickson joined Johnston Carmichael as part of our summer internship programme. Now, after graduating from the University of Strathclyde, where she was also one of our JC Campus Ambassadors, Abbie returns as an Audit Assistant in our Glasgow office. My JC Path: From Campus Ambassador to Audit Assistant

There’s no one path when it comes to starting at Johnston Carmichael. Originally joining us as part of our summer internship programme last year, Laura McKenna has since returned to JC as an Audit Assistant. Whilst completing her degree in Accounting & Finance at the University of Aberdeen, Laura took on the role of Campus Ambassador, representing JC at different student events throughout the year. Important changes to UK GAAP announced

On 15 December 2022 the Financial Reporting Council (“FRC”) released a much-anticipated draft of the periodic review of FRS 102 “The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland”.
