Stephen is an experienced Audit Partner within Johnston Carmichael and is responsible for the provision of audit, accountancy and related advisory services to a number of clients across a range of sectors. Prior to joining Johnston Carmichael, he was with one of the “Big 4” firms, dealing with businesses of all sizes, ranging from listed entities to owner-managed entrepreneurial businesses.

Stephen is also a member of Johnston Carmichael’s technical financial reporting team, providing guidance and training on current audit, accounting and financial reporting issues with a focus on IFRS and FRS 102. He holds a Diploma in International Financial Reporting Standards, awarded by Chartered Accountants Ireland, in which he achieved a distinction.
