Sarah is a Restructuring Director based in Glasgow. She joined Johnston Carmichael in 2022 with extensive experience and a strong technical foundation, holding an LLB and achieving top marks in Scotland for her Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency (CPI) in 2012, before passing her Joint Insolvency Examination Board (JIEB) exams first time in 2019 and becoming a qualified Insolvency Practitioner.

Sarah specialises in managing complex insolvency cases with a focus on risk management and commercial awareness. She combines technical expertise with a pragmatic approach, ensuring compliance and delivering effective solutions for stakeholders. Her experience spans corporate and personal insolvency, and she is recognised for her ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and empathy.

Outside of work Sarah is a dedicated dance Mum, often found cheering on her 10 year old daughter at a dance show or competition.
