David specialises in working with owner-managed businesses and the individuals who control them. He advises people at all stages of their journey, from thinking about the holding structure of their investments, adapting this as circumstances change, through to planning the transition to new owners in due course. He has led exits via private sales and IPOs, as well as structuring inter-generational succession plans for those who want to retain their business in their family.

David has a particular focus on property-rich individuals and businesses, delivering advice which joins up the broad range of tax issues which need to be considered in tandem, and has significant experience working with property investors, developers and housebuilders.
