Based in Aberdeen, Teresa joined Johnston Carmichael in March 2026, having previously worked for more than 16 years at a Big 4 firm in the UK and USA.

Teresa is an ICAEW qualified Chartered Accountant and AICPA qualified Certified Public Accountant, with extensive experience managing financial statement audits under IFRS, UK GAAP and US GAAP across energy, transportation, retail, and manufacturing sectors.

Teresa has technical expertise in internal control audits, IPOs, debt/equity offerings, and complex transactions.

Outside of work, Teresa enjoys visiting local Scottish landmarks with her husband and two young children, and spending time with close family in England, Colombia and the US.
