Tamsyn Weston is Chief Technology Officer at Johnston Carmichael, leading the firm’s technology strategy across IT, cyber security, digital development, AI, and automation. Her focus is on building secure, resilient, and effective technology services that support the firm’s growth, its people, and its clients.

Tamsyn brings more than 20 years’ experience in technology, transformation, and cyber security, within financial services and other regulated environments. She has led complex technology change, modernised IT services and operating models, strengthened cyber resilience, and helped organisations use technology to simplify how they work and create greater business value.

As a leader, Tamsyn is passionate about creating high-performing, collaborative teams and making technology accessible to the wider business. She has a particular interest in the responsible adoption of AI and automation, using innovation to reduce operational friction and enable people to focus on higher-value work.

Outside work, Tamsyn lives with her family in the Scottish Borders, where she enjoys life on their smallholding with pygmy goats, chickens, and geese, as well as spending time in the garden.
