Tax Partner and Head of Tax, Susie joined Johnston Carmichael in 2012 following 20 years with Bank of Scotland, HBOS and latterly Lloyds Banking Group, as Group Tax Director. Her role involved developing a tax strategy for the Group in light of the Banking Code and the current banking and tax environment, leading negotiations with HMRC and the internal Board on all tax matters affecting the Group.

Her experience in tax planning strategies, understanding business drivers and commercial goals of clients adds value to their business propositions through efficient tax structuring.
