Stephen started his career in 1997 with Campbell & Co (now Azets), as a mixed tax assistant and later moved to specialise in Private Client Tax. He is a member of the Association of Tax Technicians (ATT) and joined Johnston Carmichael in June 2016 as a Manager in the private client tax team.

He works on both private client advisory and compliance with a particular specialism in providing tax advice and compliance for LLP’s, partnerships, partners, and high net worth individuals. He has significant experience with large partnerships as well as owner managed businesses and their families. His work focuses on income tax, capital gains tax, compliance, and partnership taxation. He is also part of our Professional Partnerships sector team.
