Jordan joined Johnston Carmichael in March 2024 and is a Financial Services Tax Partner based in our Glasgow office.
Jordan specialises in Financial Services and has a particular focus on Venture Capital and mid-market Private Equity, Infrastructure and Real Estate funds as well as Investment Trusts and Venture Capital Trusts.
Jordan provides tax advice to these funds including advising on: the establishment of new investment funds both domestically and internationally; investment funds’ acquisition and disposal of investments; structuring fund managers; and the remuneration of individual fund executives (including the taxation of co-investment and carried interest returns). Jordan is also involved in the annual fund tax compliance and investor reporting process.
