Emma became an ACCA member in 2000, joining Johnston Carmichael as a senior manager in 2016. She then became a partner in 2019, heading up our Inverurie office and leading the North East BA team.

In addition, Emma is regularly involved in change management through ongoing projects and heads up the Business Hub service line for the firm. This involves operational responsibility for accounting and tax compliance within the BA business line.

With a strong background in owner managed business, Emma has a diverse portfolio of clients, both corporate and unincorporated businesses in construction & property, food & drink, hospitality and landed estates.

Outside work Emma enjoys eating out so makes sure HIIT and yoga classes are also on the agenda to compensate!
