The Transaction Taxes team at Johnston Carmichael recently acted as lead adviser to Qikserve on their disposal to business management software provider, The Access Group.

The Access Group is a digital commerce platform, content management system (CMS), kiosk and mobile order & pay provider to the hospitality sector.

Our Transaction Taxes team provided advice on the tax and payroll implications of the transaction for employee shareholders and option holders, as well as supporting Qikserve with their due diligence. This included working with our Moore Global colleagues in France, Spain and Brazil to deliver a joined up, multi-jurisdiction solution.
