    David Wilson, Audit Partner in Johnston Carmichael’s Aberdeen team has been appointed one of 13 new Ambassadors to the Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce (AGCC) as part of a new initiative to support local businesses and further develop the North-East economy.

    The initiative will help to connect businesses across Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire with the ambassadors facilitating networking opportunities to help new relationships develop.

    The Ambassadors are influential business leaders from a range of companies across Aberdeen & Grampian, including Aberdeen Standard Investments, St James’s Place, Aberdein Considine & Co, Clydesdale Bank and Brodies LLP.

    David has worked with a range of businesses throughout his career from growing corporates and larger owner managed businesses to private equity backed businesses and he has seen first-hand the entrepreneurial spirit abundant in the region.

     “As longstanding members of the AGCC, I am delighted to be part of the Ambassador programme. For me business is all about relationships and that’s a part of my role that I’ve always enjoyed. I am looking forward to getting more involved with local businesses, to help them develop their networks which in turn may provide opportunities for funding, growth and access to new markets.”
