Johnston Carmichael provided funder due diligence on behalf of Santander Plc

Airvolution Energy Limited will construct and operate a 5MW onshore wind farm located at Neuk Farm near Cockburnspath in the Scottish Borders. It will construct 2 Nordex N90 2.5MW turbines and operate them for 25 years. The 10.5m project will displace approximately 7,500 tonnes of Co2 annually, and power around 108,000 homes over its operational life. The project senior debt is being provided by Santander Plc who instructed Johnston Carmichael to conduct funder due diligence. The team conducted a financial model logic and integrity review together with commercial, economic, financial and tax and accounting due diligence.

I would like to thank the Johnston Carmichael team for making the due diligence process a painless one, and we look forward to working with them again in the future.

Finance Director, Airvolution Energy
