Webinar - IFRS 18 - new format of Income Statement
Our Financial Reporting Advisory team experts will explore the key implications of IFRS 18.

IFRS 18 "Presentation and Disclosure in Financial Statements” is a new accounting standard effective for accounting periods beginning on or after 1 January 2027. It is applied retrospectively, meaning 2026 financial year will serve as the comparative period. The most significant change involves a new format of the Statement of Profit or Loss.
In this webinar, our Financial Reporting Advisory team experts will explore the key implications of IFRS 18, including its purpose and underlying principles, and explain how the new profit and loss format changes the way financial performance is presented.
Using practical examples, they will illustrate how existing results may be reclassified, particularly in judgemental areas such as operating versus investing activities. The session will also cover what organisations need to know about transition, including timing, disclosure requirements, and how to assess the potential impact ahead of implementation.
