We’re committed to contributing to and supporting the many communities in which we live and work throughout Scotland.

Our Corporate Social Responsibility strategy comprises three elements; Community, Workplace and Environment.

Our network of CSR representatives across our 11 offices is supported by a committee of volunteers led by Head of CSR, Alison Mackenzie.

Over the last decade, Johnston Carmichael has raised over £450,000 for charitable causes. Each year we dedicate our efforts to raising funds for a single charity chosen by the firm and, in addition, each office nominates local charities and good causes they would like to support.

For 2017/18, each Johnston Carmichael office will support its own nominated local charity. However firm wide we will once again sponsor & support the KiltWalk which raises funds for an array of vital causes.

But, at Johnston Carmichael, CSR is about more than raising funds for charity.

To us, it means everything from socialising with colleagues, offering pro bono work and getting involved with community groups to telling young people about career opportunities, being aware of our impact on the environment, or giving up some of our free time to help others.

We believe we can all make a difference.
